Hmm.. Think This Would Work? - 05/25/07 10:01 PM
Do you guys think that I could get the HUD pod from 3800performance
http://www.3800performance.com/Merchant2...Product_Count=4 Without holes, or just fill them in, and mount a gps monitor in it? Or, I have a 7" monitor that I could wire into a rear view camera.
What do you think?

Someone posted a pic of their gauges in the HUD pod at night, and there was a nasty glare coming off the windshield.
I was going to buy one for my Aeroforce scan gauge, until I sat that pic and how much glare there was.

me thinks I will, I think it will be navigation because a 7" monitor mounted on the dash would create one heck of a blind spot.

You're not going to fit a 7" display on that pod!

Nice idea but that pod is meant for the small guages. What are the actual dimensions of the screen?
The guages them selves are either 2.5 inch or 3 inch.
Then go from there.
You could always mount it in the cubby just forward of the shifter.

My gauges are 2-1/16, I think that's the most common size used in GP's
