Auto Climate Control Tests?

Does anyone remember a few tests the Automatic Climate Control in GrandPrix can test or show problems. I remeber getting into test mode by pressing driver and passenger knobs at the same time... need some more info for help with Outside Temp being off and blinking..

I did not find the test procedures, however the outside temp guage was fixed after $90.00 and cleaning the contacts per Service...
