Headlight Moisture Problem

ok recently it rained hard so hard that it pretty much flooded(rivers all over town were flooded)now my problem is I need to get to work so I drove through the flooded streets now my headlights have moisture and water inside them,are the easy to take apart and clean,reglue(which glue do I need)

You might be better off buying a new set.

You can bake them to soften the glue, then cut the glue around the lense so they come apart.

buy a new set .. and then put new silicone around the edges... ... i had the same problem we got flooded out at work and the only way out was through the water .. or let the car get taken away lol

well that sucks since I just bought these about 3 months ago I guess I will try to bake them first maybe I can fix them myself.What temperature do I use to bake them?

We were discussing this a few months back, I remember correctly somebody said to remove your headlights, remove a seal? around where the bulb goes into the headlight and let them sit in the sun for a while i think with the front of the lense towards the sun.

Not positive, try searching but it is worth a shot.

Yeah, that was me. Take the lights out of the cradle, find an unsealed portion of the housing and have that on the ground so the housing can drain. point the lenses towards the sun to create a greenhouse-like effect, thus causing the water to drain and steam itself out of the housing. Works great in the summer heat of the desert. Not so sure with everyone else's humid climate. BTW: this only temporarily dries the housing, to prevent it from happening again, you would hafta follow other ppl's advice and seal them bad boys off. Or this kinda stuff will happen:
