well i keep talking about it and the plans that i had for it, if my engine wasnt on its way out. Well here is what it looked like. I had tint but had to take it off due to a ticket and they wanted me to prove it was off so i had no choice...

ya i wanted to do the Sd front air dam, Sd spoiler, GT/P rear bumper, SD Hood, Black rims, Lowering springs, Magnaflow Exhaust. Most appearance mods because it was only the 3100 engine so nothing i can really do to it...

I wasn't sure about sd front air dam but I think mine look great without them. Black rims? well I'm staying tri-spoke that everyone hate it I'm not sure about lower it. I hate if I scratch something under it. Parking spot curb can be pain. When I get Ed Morad used rear bumper. I always park backward. When my rear bumper is over curb. I just look at them. It is like inches close to bottom of my bumper My Se bumper is high so that's why I have habit park it behind. I will have to be careful to not scratches bottom when I get my car with new gt/gtp bumper back.

ya i was thinking about doing some black 5 spoke rims. I didnt really know anything about these cars over a yr ago and ive come along way since then!! But some may diasgree...lol Ya i had sooo many plans for that car, but the hot coolant smell started to show its ugly head, and i didnt want to deal with any engine problems. If you look close on the frontal shot at the bottom side of the bumper on the passenger side you can see where the snow/ice banks on the side of my driveway won a fight between it and my bumper!! lol

Is it just me, or is there one chrome grill, and it changes places between shots? lol

haha no its just the reflection of the sun and my dads old crappy digital camera...right after i took the pictures my friend asked me if i was missing one of my grilles because you cant even see it in one of the shots. lol

I remember my old camera did same thing when I took shot from sun. I'm glad I have a brand-new camera so I don't have any problem. Of course, I paint grille as silver color.

I like that name on top of windshield. I'm thinking about do that but I think it is too ricer so I leave it alone.

its not ricer AT ALL....all SORTS of people do that! people with mustangs, camaros, firebirds, i think it looks sweet! i wanna do it on my gt but not sure what i want it to say.

This one you are talking about? I don't know. I never done that. Is that sticker? What if they are peel it out. I hate if I waste my money. I don't know if my "silver" is match them since they don't have color example.

Ya thats the one but i had mine made at my local Flea market for $10. The arrowheads on mine were smaller and the color was silver and matched my car PERFECT!!! i had the sticker on for over a YEAR, and that went through 2 winters and stayed on until the day i took it off to trade it in which was July 24th, 2007.

**edit** actually no...mine says Grand Prix with the arrowheads on the sides. If you want i can get you one like what i had and then send it to you. I just need the money first! PM me to figure out details.

Palsuty, did you realize that your hood AND front bumper are the wrong color in that picture?

Maybe you need new glasses?

My hood and front bumper is same color to me. I'm not sure why you mentioned that.

*edit* I understand what are you trying say. It might be sun that cause fender too bright but in person that color is 100% same.

No no no, your hood and front bumper are the same color but DIFFERENT than the REST of the car.

Just look at the front 1/4 panel.

Your bumper and hood are a gray-silver. The REST of your car is a bluish-silver.

I don't have car right now but I look ton of pictures I took. It might be bad camera color or whatever reason why the color different. I know in person that the color is same. Please don't try scared me for little bit different color or I will have to raise the hell at body shop lol

I took look at my winter beater since they are same color. It is look almost same as my car. Maybe I have two kind color but when I walk around the car. The color is little change. I guess my car got magic color or something. If cop clock me for speeding. I will try my best to "change" little bit blue color

the color difference in the hood and the bumper compared to the rest of the car is because the hood and bumper are plastic where as everything else is metal. It all has to do with the type of material your painting thats why most body shops will ask you if you want your paint blended to the rest of the car because of the color difference between materials.

They actually blend my fender too. In person, I don't see any differeance color. It might be camera caught it pretty good. If it is little tiny bit different color but really same then I'm okay with it. Maybe 01 Gt is right about plastic and metal.

it happens on EVERY car..theres a SLIGHT difference between fenders,1/4 panels and the bumpers. Even on my car you can tell a slight difference but in your case IN THE PICTURE it makes it stand out alot more...but it is probably different in person.

I'm going to chalk the color differences upto lighting and cheap camera. If you look at the top pic the fender appears a different shade then the door. Plus Palsut seen it in person and we all know what a stickler he is when it comes to paint. His first post woulda been look what these idiots did now. Not look how good it is.

I kind want to see my car right now but they are inside garage so I can't see them.

I didn't tell you other scratches part. They did scratch my quarter panel. There is like 10 scratches on it. I have seen they put some parts on top of other car. That's bad example for this job. At least it is final day on Monday after they fix it and never seen again. Thank god nothing scratches on my sd wing or trunk. I don't know how hell they scratches them like 10 times. I always be anal about paint scratches if nothing cause by me. If I cause scratch then I normally piss off myself for being stupid mistake.

*edit* maybe let everyone go back topic to old 01 GT's SE car. It might be hurt his feeling if we talk about my damn paint.

I wasn't refering to "your" camera Palsut. I was refering to the OP's first pic. It has the same color variations as yours. Only you can really tell because of the way the lighter areas get washed out from over exposure.

no....you can have a sticker on your windshield and be no where NEAR ricer. Like with mine and Corey's it compliments our car!!

hmmm I might give shot about that. If it is fail like peel itself so they can remove easy than like sticker won't stuck like I have to use goo goo gone.

Is that sticker all way in this windshield or you put arrowhead, G, R and go on to X, arrowhead? It might be hard to make it "perfect line".

Like with mine i told them i wanted a sticker that said:

"(arrowhead) GRAND PRIX (arrowhead)"

When they make the sticker they make it as a "whole" so you dont have to "piece" anything together, so everything will be in a straight line.

they will make the sticker for you, then you windex the window make sure theres no debris on it before you lay it down, also DONT get the back of the sticker wet(while the paper backing is still on), pull the paper backing off then lay the sticker down(i made about a 1/2" slit in the bottom middle of the sticker and at the top so that it curves with the window, then you take a credit card and smooth out everything from the INSIDE OUT(any little air bubbles just take a needle and poke them), then pull the top layer off and your done! lol

Very simple procedure...

Its just like a regular sticker, no need for goo gone or anything like that just pull it off when you dont want it anymore.
