Connecting a Oem digital rear view mirror

Hi all have a non digital interior rear veiw mirror, and i want to connect a digital compass climate control oem mirror, i dont have the 2-3 inch harness peice, can i use the universal harness off ebay, it states its for a donnelly and gentex mirror? and do i need to buy the temp sensor? and is it a diy on this for our cars thx all.

I know the dimming mirror needs a reverse lead, acc, ground, and the temperature lead.

the thermostat is out in the bumper, so you will have to run that inside the car, the others shouldn't be too hard to tap.

Are their any pic on where this stuff is and how to do it? have you done this before notladstyle?

Nobody else has any other input on this? has this never been done before?
