need help with injector pulse

hello i just bought a grand prix gtp supercharged so i could have something to mess around with this summer and the car was running great. but it started to misfire tracked it down to cyl #5. changed the plugs and wires no luck. pulled out the noid lights and sure enough no injector pulse to the #5 cyl. wire harness looked good so i tried a pcm from a buddys buick riv supercharged and the noid lit up like it should(car wouldnt run, but the pcm wasnt flashed for my car). with that i went out and bought a brand new pcm and had it flased for my car, put it in and the same thing no injector pulse to the #5 cyl. any ideas?

i had that same problem with 1997 grand prix gt an it turned out to be the coil pack but mine was in cylinder #5 change the coil good luck

ICM or coil.

Have you moved the injector to another cylinder to see if the problem follows?

what does the ICM do? ill have to look in to that

Ignition Control Module. it tells the coil packs when to fire. it's that small rectangle box right below the coil packs.

turned out to be the pink/black wire (hot) going to the fuse box. so far the car is running great. still a little mad i went out and bought a brand new pcm. live and learn. thanks for all the help everyone.

PCM's rarely go bad. It's usually something else.
