If you blew one line the rest are probably not far behind. Including fuel lines.

I do not understand why they don't coat all brake and fuel lines in a hard plastic from factory. This would stop them from rusting out.

They tend to rust more at the clips that hold them in line under the car, is that where your leak was?

i totally blew out my brake line near the back tire. it wasnt a clip though. it was just before it bends up to meet the caliper, but i replaced almost all of the brake lines. no need to have it happen again right?

there's never a NEED to blow out a brake line, but with you replacing all of your lines and connections and fittings, your brake system should stay sealed for the next 15 years or so. Well, SHOULD stay sealed unless you shear it on a snag in the road, it wasn't torqued shut like it should have been, or you left too much OR too little slack in the routing.
