Heat Issues - 12/30/12 12:52 PM

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here as I have passed the GP down and have been at school. I'm home on break now and trying to get a few issues resolved.

We're having a few problems with the heat right now which I believe to be a blend door issue. Currently the heat will only blow out of the defrost vent on top of the dash, nothing out of the dash vents on either side of the car. The car has the digital climate control unit. Can you guys confirm this as a blend door problem and help me identify the correct part number? I'm also not sure if I have two blend doors or one and if one (or both) is bad.

Thanks in advance for the help!

If the seated guy is blinking when you first start the car, you have trouble codes stored. If not, check for broken vacuum lines under the hood or behind the dash.

Here's a pic of the climate controls:

You might want to bookmark this site, since Compnine doesn't have diagrams and part numbers anymore. wink

No trouble codes on the climate control.

Are you suggesting that it may not be the blend door? I'll check for vac leaks under the hood tomorrow. Are there any specific areas I should be looking at under the dash for broken lines?

Going into school in a brand new car may be cool but studying not well is not so good because we already know the importance of studying which is important for every student. Students can now still choose the best essay writer service that can offer advanced writing skills to the students to gain good grades at the college level.
