Found Candy yesterday

Haven't been around much.
Still using the GP.
She gets me from A to B mostly.
I haven't been on much due to lack of
time spent on the GP.
Was on craigslist and just typed in grand prix the
other day.
first posting was for this hood.
It is carbon fiber. Has a few scratches that I think
I can get out.
I've only done maintenance on the GP for the past couple of
years. This is the biggest mod in the past two years.
It doesn't have the hydraulic prop rod mounts. I need
to find those. The stock are welded so I can't use them.
Anyone know information on getting a pair?

Nice find, hopefully you can get some help with the hood on here. As much as I hate to say it, you might want to try the clubgp if you haven't yet. This site is no longer what it once used to be. Everybody has either sold their car, or it has broke and they have moved on it seems

Looks good man. Have you looked at other wbody cars to see if they are removable one them? If not you could always drill thru the shock and mount it wih a bolt.

Older body style grand prix have brackets with bolts.
I found that at LKQ.
Just have to drill new holes since brackets don't match holes.

Doing pretty good.. I got married then the next day my engine dieded. So i did an engine swap to a L36 and have a topswap ready to install this summer.
