Andrew383 vs Palsut

Well I had to do it. A couple posts that were brought up under my thread suggested that the 2 race. Of course it wouldnt be a huge race but I think it would be cool to see. Who do you think would win in a 1/4 mile run between Andrew383 and Palsut?

If either one of you feel like you don't want this post up here I will be glad to take it down I just thought it would be interesting to see who thinks who would win because I actually would pay to see the 2 race.

Just for those who dont know about the two they both have 3100's.

I have none but I have new gmpp exhaust which it remove u-bend out.

I know he will beat me because he has some work on engine. My engine is still stock.

I think Palsut would get the jump off the line. he has such a feather foot he won't spin the tires at all and get a great launch.

Given that palsut has half the interior out (a slight weight advantage), to keep it fair he should run the race in reverse...

I will need to swap the rims for torque star out of my winter car.

I will need remove the left headlight to suck more air from stock intake box. If we race like this weekend then I have no chance to order FWI for slowest shipping lol

Oh I need remove the spare tire out too.

Maybe install my winter car's SE rear bumper for light weight? GT/P rear bumper is HEAVY than SE bumper.

Lol, i would get a CAI Palsut, then maybe some poly mounts if they have those for SE's...and then get a powerlog if they make one for the se.

I thought you live in Indianapolis from this picture. Where you live since you put So. Indiana.? I'm about 20 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio. Louisville is 100 miles from me. I'm sure we are closer than we thought.

I have no work on motor but like I told other thread that I'm not going to race because this engine is too slow. Now, I have my new rival other 3100 engine

I know street racing is dangerous. We both don't want wrecked our cars for that.

Is 1/8 miles free to enter or do we have to pay? I never enter drag track on my car before. If we must to pay then I don't think it is worth it for our "slow" cars to drag track for between us.

the plan is a 3400 with a tiny cam with a bump in compression,along with head/intake porting.But it may end up as a .30 over 3400 with ported head/intake.not lookin to make a powerhouse but a good mpg car with some gitty up

WOW is right with Milzy $2700 for their stage 2 performance kit this would put down an amazing 200hp and 200 tq ,that makes about as much sence as this post the 3100 was an economy option for people not interested in performance in fact most modern 4cyl offer better perfomance the sad thing is the 3100 does'nt even offer any better fuel economy than 3.8 SC ,I really do'nt see any benefit to the boat anchor option in a 3500lb car it is clearly underpowered and throwing $3000 at it just so it can get out of it's own way is just ludicrous ,this motor belongs on GM's pile of scrap motors that should have never been built .Chico(pops)

the 3100 is not just in the grand prix's and you know that there's plenty of peeps running 60v6,so many in fact that there's a market for them so that does say something.
Whats the point of modding any car??For me its a hobby and what i like to do.Granted my modding on this car is in the intrest of mpg ill continue to mod it.

We might have slow engines but there are some other cars are slow too. I'm not going to make my car fast because I'm more appearance guy than racing guy.

Your 3800 supercharger engine is slow too. There is other sport cars like Viper, Corvette, GTO, G8 and other car who have powerful V8 engines than 3800 engine will blow you away.

every vehicle it is in is similarly heavy. chico's right, with the GP coming with the 3.8 or 3.1, there is no reason to performance mod a 3.1. The S/C 3.8 stock outperforms a mildly modded 3.1, and pulls in the same gas mileage. I agree the 60V6 is a better setup, but the angle doesn't compensate for the loss of displacement.

And the Grand Prix is a fraction of the price for any of these. All of our cars are worth a similar amount, between $3000-$7000. All of those cars are at LEAST twice our pricetag. The Viper is more like 15 times more. Give me 80k and I will have a Grand Prix that will blow the doors off of a Viper/Vette/etc.

That's right. I know some of them can't afford fast car like Viper, Corevtte or whatever.

In other site that almost half of members trade their gp for G8. I think G8 GT is now around $21k instead $30k. That's make everyone want give grand prix up to get G8

palsut, apples to apples here.

Gp's arent race cars, seen too many threads, but CAN be eventually.

I think boostens old car could hang with vipers, im sure many others too.
