Pulley Drop! WOOT!

Pulley Drop! WOOT! - 07/18/09 01:19 AM

Went to ZZP today, spent a few bucks wink , got the MPS system with a 3.6 pulley. Ill drop to a 3.4 once i get to the exhaust shop and get my exhaust work done (res removed, cat removed, ubend delete). Then ill drop to a 3.4. Doing a scan on the car, hit 11 pounds of boost a few tims, but an average of 9-10lbs, hit a false KR once, which was 6*, then on WOT hit a highest of 3.5 KR, that will all be eliminated once i get to the exhaust shop on monday. Also replaced all my vac lines, had a boost leak from the T under the snout, so i bought a Vacline kit from ZZP and replaced the lines with some nice silicone lines and brass T's laugh Now for some pics of the goodies laugh

I just saw that new vac. kit yesterday, I think we all need that lol.

I barely hit 11 PSI on a 3.4 tuned with 0* of KR.

No idea what kind of boost I make with my 3.4; but I only see blips of KR at WOT around 4000rpm thanks to good ole Will at Overkill.

Looks good!

And Jorgs. At the moment, Boosten is "boost stacking". Your making 11lbs. of boost WAY more efficiently than he is. His numbers will more than likely drop once he hits the exhaust shop.

Yesir, you are correct. 11lbs Boost Stacking.

I should be at a 3.4 sometime next week when i get the exhaust work done.

Why buy a 3.6 just to ditch it in a week? I assume you've found another job?

Re: Pulley Drop! WOOT! - 07/18/09 04:19 AM

No, i bought the 3.6 because it really all depends on how much i can get the exhaust work done for, ill keep the 3.6 for a few week, plus resale on pullies is easy, and i can trade it in to ZZP for a 3.4 no problem. Wonders of living down the road from them, they do awesome trade ins laugh

I wish I lived near ZZP...

On the other hand, I don't have any extra cash...maybe it's a GOOD thing that I don't. lol

I read website that Michigan is worst highest unemployment % last night. I'm not sure how I feel if I spend car parts if I can't find the job in Michigan but that's your money and your choice. wink

Anyway look good and also look good about new dual tip too on the other thread. Your rear shot is almost like mine.

This is a bit suspicious on how you can afford all this, always seems like your modding the car Boosten. Do you have a money tree in backyard?

Re: Pulley Drop! WOOT! - 07/21/09 04:49 PM

I agree with everyone else. It's stupid. That's what I was getting at before. Get out on your own and stop mooching off the government so you can have exhaust tips and smaller pulleys. Things like this get to me.
