my 03 gtp has 60 k on the clock, and i was wondering if i should change my plugs? and if so, what should i use? i think autolite 104's are popular around here, but im just looking for exact-double platinum, etc...

Always change wires with plugs, unless you're running coppers and have to gap them every 15k. The wires degrade over time and increase in resistance, losing spark strength.

so i should get wires too? i wasnt trying to spend all that much, considering i have to pay for all the stuff i broke when i crashed, but we'll see what happens

For your case I would go with 605's. You're pretty lightly modded and there's no reason to go with a really cold plug with just your mods. IIRC, 605's are 1 heat range colder than stock. 104s are two, 103's are three ranges colder.

103s are one heat range cooler than the 104s. For you I would say 104s or even one less heat range then that.

wats the advantage/disadvantage to colder plugs? will i have problems running 104's?

Cooler plugs help to prevent knock. Iirc Autolite's numbering system is the lower the number the cooler the plug. A lightly modded GTP would benefit from running 104s (copper core need regapped about every 15k) 605s(platinums and gaps last longer)

605s are copper, as well as stock 606s. Heat range has nothing to do with the material of the center electrode, although a platinum/iridium tip does hold more heat. It has to do with heat retained based on insulator length. Platinum Autolites have an AP prefix, double platinum are APP.
