instrument panel lights - 06/23/07 11:14 PM
This is my first grand prix, I own a 1997 GTP, I just bought it yesterday, well I drove it home and low and behold my instrument panel lights will not turn on. I have looked at both fuse boxes, but couldnt really find one that was specifically for the instrument panel, I probably overlooked it.... I was wondering if maybe the problem was the dimmer switch I heard that when they go bad the panel lights remain off. All other lighting is good... Oh by the way i want to cut off my daytime running lights.. any know how????? thanks

not sure on the IP lights... to disable your DRL's, since you have a 97, all you need to do is pull the DRL fuse in the fuse box next to the glove compartment
welcome to the site!

The dash lights are on the tailights fuse.

I've seen that before it's not totally out of the question.

I have the exact same problem.
The tail lights work... and the dimmer works. Only on the radio though. none of the other lights work
