STBs installed and Sway bars on the way

Hello fellow GPers!!

I just installed my NL front STB and Buick rear STB and
wow! The car is much more respnonsive and feels better
on bumps on the road. The chasis feels much more stiff.
I highly recommend getting them. I have the NL f/r anit-sway bars
on the way. I am hoping this will greatly improve
the GPs handling characteristics as I can't stand
when the car leans while taking fast turns.

I think thats the mod most of us do as well. Then mix in some Eibachs, Konis and some rims and tires and the GP becomes a pretty competitive handling machine that can the competition.

There's even one autocrosser from Texas, JP I think his name is, who out handles M3s with his modified GP.

So you know the potential is there ... just gotta add some parts to realize the full potential!

Ya that will be after the sway bars. I think i will first go with the tires. I am looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE950s and then probably the shocks and springs, but i did'nt want to lower my car since the roads here in chicago aren't that great and I already have problems with the clearance.

If you mean the RE930, I might be careful there. I put some on my wife's old Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T and they made a lot of road noise. Very sticky though.

Definately get some 17s and I personally prefer the RE730s for the three warmer seasons but if you are the type that doesnt like to swap to winter tires then get the BFG KDWSes.

Actually i ment the RE950. They are the all season Potenzas. The ratings were really good including the quiteness of the tires. The link is below ...
