Cool my junior year of high school I was planning on going to UTI then I changed my mind figured cars would be the hobby. But I really wish I would of learned more in the car field. Oh well. Good luck bro!

thanks man. should of done it. deff worth it. plus its fun and you get a grade for not doing anything really lol. we have this program. that you can bring your car there and we fix it. so when i get my whole top swap parts together im taking it over there and were goiung to do it. and plus we haev a dyno so i can see what i started with and what the end result is. lol

That is sick. I remember when I went there for my interview they had a 800whp 93 cobra on the dyno. SOO loud hahaha. I was gunna do the merc extended course too. Your going to learn so much and it will allow you to do crazy builds. Its a passion! Enjoy it.

I wanted to go to a school like that, but I decided I don't want to work on cars 9-5 and then work on my car.

I'll keep cars as a hobby and have a day job that doesn't kill my back.

yes cars is a hobby, i went to school for collision and refinishing, and i am never going to work in a bodyshop because if i do it all day i will never want to work on my own when i get a chance .... but yes what is the problem

i love it now. but idk how i will feel in a couple years. but its great knowledge to know. well the "so called" mechanic that i went to completly f-ed the fire order. so i took a diagrahm of a 97GT and put em in that order and crossed my fingers and Vroom! took it today and dropped her off for paint. ill have her back next wens. soon as i do im taking to the shop at school and putting it on diagnostic, and alignment. its all free so... .why not lol! but thanks guys!

I'm going to Midlands Tech here in Columbia for the automotive program and it's real fun. I can bring my car in and I just have to pay for parts and the teacher shows the class whats wrong and how to fix it.

exactly like mine is. we have everything. soon as its done being painted. ima get a new fuel pump and O2 sensors and put em in over there.

I had the Park Ave tied up in a body shop for over 2 months, when I was told it would be two weeks... :rolleyes:

metallic black baby gonna be sweet. hes doin a couple other things. soooo im ready to see it all shined up. lol

thats one slick color. Last night, me and Ifitwasnt4u were talkin about my Firebird and what colors I should use if I restore that thing. Black metallic is nice, but on Bird, overdone. I'm thinking Black Cherry or a really dark metallic burgandy. No, not a cherry paint job done in black, but Black Cherry.

Either way, all that to say that your choice is CHOICE! Drooling with anticipation.

lol. i love that color. looks almost black in the shade then a real dark burgundy in the sun. but i like the look of black mettallic i love that silver flake. and i know im getting so anxious.

If I had to guess I'd say the car never got painted. I don't think weather should have any impact on a car getting painted unless the guy's doing it outside but then you'd have other problems.

Maybe it was bad pictures? I think you should take a picture with sunny to see them clear. It is hard to tell from cloudy area.

X2, he made me nervous and that is not my car on the pics.

lighting and POS cell camera. paint is amazing. the shine is rediculous. its 20F so im not washing her. way to cold. first warm day i will but until then this is all. no its not a single stage and yes it was done in a booth. paint is great. ordered some fig grilles. and knock off gen2 spoiler. so waiting on them. also got a plog from a club gp member. couple more easy tune ups then im prety much done other then maybe a F1 or SD hood. but college starts in june so i gotta start saving up for that. ill be attending NADC in nashville. for collison and repair and a 3month add on couse of high performance and high performance fab.

I washed mine and it was 10* outside.... Granted I failed once I drove it down the road but still lol. Man up!

I'm sorry. I think it was bad move. You says you will have F1 or SD hood and gen II spoiler. Why paint stock hood and stock spoiler if you will have new parts coming soon? Sound like waste to me.

That's what I was thinking palsut. Especially with the wing on the way.

What? So no one allowed to have any good appearance look under 3.1 engine? :rolleyes: I'm not only have appearance look under 3.1 engine. I know some of them have nice looking car on other site. It is my car and I like good looking. I don't tell everyone's car that you "waste" your engine mod for fast car or whatever. It is everyone's ride. I respect that for whatever they like.

Anyway, I'm just saying if I was him. I would waiting for spoiler arrived to my door since he ordered it already. Then I will have it paint everything. I know he says "maybe" F1 or SD hood. If you keep stock spoiler and hood then I guess it is not waste. You could sell aftermarket hood/spoiler if you change your mind to sell your car.

lol herc, but we are having a really bad ice storm here in KY, alot of ppl's power is out. and we are suppose to get 1/2inch of more ice and we already have around 1-2. and then 2-3 inches of snow tonight. so ill be having the GP in the garage. but 1st warm day above 40, cleaning time baby and then some pics.
