Valve Cover Breather

worth it? any benefits?

Well, up until last night I would've asked the same thing......
Had a guy shred the ACC Belt on his GTP last night at the track. There was oil all over the place, and we couldn't figure out where it came from.
We finally acquired another belt and fired up the car looking for an oil leak. None found I started throttling a little bit. While doing so, I could see a puff of smoke in the area below the SC Snout. Curious, I cracked the throttle pretty good and a plume of smoke came out of the breather on the valve cover.
Long story short, I believe his PCV stuck, and if it wasn't for that breather it's likely that he would've blown more than his LIM gasket.
