ok, so my cars supercharger belt snapped, and when i looked at it closer, i noticed the 3.0" gooved idler pulley was broken. where can i get a quality replacement part for this?

second problem, when the supercharger belt snapped, it destroyed the serpentine belt. its chewed up pretty bad and i'll have to replace it right away. what size and how easy is that to replace?

I'm not sure about the accesory belt, but a parts store should be able to look up the correct length.

And if I'm not mistaken, the SC belt is 68" long

Goodyear Gatorback #'s are.....

Acc. Belt - 4060915
SC Belt - 4060660

The Accessories belt is a different length for the '97's, and possibly the '98's. If that's the year you have, don't use the number I gave you.

The pulley you will need to shop around for at your local parts stores.... Be sure you are getting the proper pulley, as we recently replaced the idler pulley on a car, and the parts houses kept trying to sell us a tensioner pulley..... Or was it the other way around???.... No matter.

The gatorback S/C belt is worth it.

The Gator backs I'm referring to are belts..... I was just throwing the numbers out there for something to cross referrence if you wanted another brand..... There has been some debate as to how good the Gatorbacks are. I may go with another belt on my next change just to see if a smooth groove belt makes my engine run quieter.

The thing about the gator backs is they are less prone to slippage when under a load.
