Brake fluid flush??? How to???

okay, 98 gtp with 108k on the clock. i am going to be changing the pads front and rear and want to change the fluid. now, i know how to bleed brakes, that isn't what i need to know. is there a special way to flush the system since it's got abs?? or do i just do a regular flush, bleeding and filling

At about 100k miles I bled each caliper until the new clear fluid came out. Old stuff was dark so it was easy to tell when it was all out. I dont know how well that clears out the fluid in the ABS unit... maybe someone else can help.

I dont know if its the best way or not.. but i have almost 142k and brakes still work

ABS and non ABS the brake flush is the same. Only thing is start at the right rear tire, then the left rear then the front right and then the front left.

If you get a big bottle of brake fluid open it and turn it upside down inside the master cylinder you'll have plenty of fluid and it shouldn't spill over.

Do Not get brake fluid on the paint

I wasnt brave enough to dump the bottle over... so i topped it off.. bled it through and added more. actaully made my gf watch and fill for me

also, it's a good idea to open the vave on the caliper when squeezing the piston in for the new pads, so as not to potentially cause problems with the ABS sensors, etc then top the resivoir off after each corner is done (mechanic friend told me to do this, said that it could hurt the sensors, etc doing it the old fashioned way)
