with 8,600 of damage I would imagine it is irreparable/not worth buying back.

I got 8K from my old baby. My dad could have gotten it fixed for about 5-6k, but then he found the Daytona, and I couldn't resist.

You can buy it back and not have to gut it, I think. The car will have a salvage title on it thought, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
