question about applying decals

how do you put decals on striaght? is there a secret or different point to look at a just bought the pontiac glowing logo for the underneath back part buy the exhaust are there any tips for me putting them on even?

Lie with your feet underneath the car looking up at the letters. No trick to getting them straight. Start at the bottom or top of the letter and slowly work your way up or down, applying a litt bit at a time.
