Fuel pump? Or FP sensor?

Fuel pump? Or FP sensor? - 06/27/09 07:12 PM

So my car has always ran fine with no signs of fuel pump failure. Today I drove to a gas station on my lunch break, gassed up, then started my car and it sputtered then stalled not even 5 seconds later. I restarted it, but once again it stalled and almost immediately. After that it would not even turn over. I called AAA, had it towed, and dealt with all the other BS. Now it is sitting at a local shop with a full tank of gas, waiting for Monday to come around. Well that's my story, but my question is would this most likely be the pump itself or the pump sensor? Like I said above, the car has shown no signs whatsoever of a failing fuel pump. It just "all of the sudden" would not start after gassing up. I know it is fuel pump related because there is total silence when I turn the ignition. I used to be able to hear the pump turn on.

Fuel pump resistor.
