Ok. So ZZP is out of stock on their stroker kit, but I have a question to an alternative. Could I just bore my cylinders out to 4.0L? Or can I not do that safely?

How do I get my fogs to run in the daytime but not my headlights?

disable ur DRL's and turn ur fog lights on... i believe...

yes that is the way TO GO...lol im bored from this stupid snow day....nothing to do except watch the snowplows get stuck in the snow LOL

there is a little compartment on the side of the dash by the driver side door pop that open and there will be a plug there pull it out...it should take about 15 minutes to pop it right out....

But is it safe? I'm not worried about IF I can...it's the CAN I that has me worried

there is a little compartment on the side of the dash next to the driver side door. pop that out and there wil be a little tab in there to pull out...be careful not to pull the wires out or bust the tab holding it in on the back side...it took me about 15 minutes to pull it out...ive got big hands...lol

For you to use your fog lights in the daytime without the headlights is that you have to turn that knob for the headlights between the middle lightbulb sign and the headlight sign on the right of the knob.

or u can disable ur DRLs completely....but still have them so they come on automatically....

But I still need to know if it's REALLY safe to bore out my cylinders to 4.0L. ZZP had that stroker kit, but they're out of stock.

The max you can safely bore the 3.8 is about 30k which is not going to give you much in the way of displacement or power ,if you're looking to stroke your engine COME Racing out of Australia makes a stroker kit but it's not cheap,another alternative is have a speed shop machine shop custom turn a crank for you ,although if you contact ZZP they may be able to help you out .Chico(pops)

I've already contacted ZZP and asked if they can rework my stock crank and send it back but they said they don't do that. I'll check out those other options, THX CHICO
It says they're for Holden, Chevy, and Ford. Those are under the GM name, yes, but will it work for Pontiacs?

There are two ways. One is to disable your DRLs. Turn your fogs on then take your headlight switch and turn it half way between on and parking. This will turn out the headlights leaving the fogs on.

The other is you can rewire your Fogs to be your DRLs. Here's the write up

I didn't say I didn't want to rebuild my engine. My wallet did lol
