Door molding, anyone ever remove it?

Some VW heads told me that when you remove anything like that you'll have to either fill or shave and then re-paint.
Does the same go for GP's? I'm assuming that there will be a hole where the molding was... no?

Yep.....there are holes....will have to weld up and repaint. don't use bodo or anything to fill....Your $h!tto will El Cracko and you will be pisso. Got it mang!

Too bad they didn't used double sided tape like every other car....go figure
