painted the calipers and took some beauty shots

so, i got bored this weekend and decided to paint my calipers. Yes, the car is VERY dirty, i know lol!! I wanted to take some pics of the car alone and at some different angles with everything done.

BTW you should take off the rotors, sand em down and paint them with 800* "header" paint, Its flat back and looks awesome !

I was thinking about getting those black projectors but wasn't sure how they would look. Now I know I think I'll be getting some soon

ya, i get nothing but stares and people constantly compliment me on the car! I would definately recommend the projectors!

What did you use to paint them?

I've thought about painting mine but they are pretty old and rusty, do you think it would even do much/be worth it on old calipers?

Caliper paint and a lot of preping is needed, sanding, cleaning, ect.

all i did was tape em off, and used 2 cans of brake cleaner and 2 cans of VHT caliper paint with 2 coats of each per caliper.

Tim...that ride just keeps getting sweeter. The pieces you've added have given a very aggressive look and the black wheels are just understated enough to really make the car itself stand out.
Calipers, rotors and other small appointments are now adding the level of detail that begins to elevate a car to the next level. You have come along way with this car is very short time.

Big Kudos my man on a job well done...keep tweaking the details cuz the overall car looks great.

Maybe one day soon you'll get the same response I got at McDonalds drive thru that day when the two teen girls working there gushed...

I tried to keep from bursting out laughing...you cant make crap like that up.

the only couple things i have yet to do appearance wise, is get the rear lower fascia painted black, repaint the front and rear bumpers as well, and im going to add a couple "Supercharged" decals to it very soon!

Im also debating on whether or not i want to put "Ram Air" on the scoops seeing as the scoops have been cut out for heat extraction purposes. I know, its kinda "ricerish" but i want to know what you guys would think.

Tim, that is definately what I am going for. I want to be the car that everyone knows, no matter where I am. I have somewhat accomplished that but I still desire more!

I hope yours lasts, but that stuff needs a decent amount of prep to last.
