has anyone experienced any problems with their fuel guages on '97s? mine works erratically, sometimes it works and sometimes it reads past full. dealer says $700 to fix, may be the sending unit, may be the pump, and maybe both. i say that's way too much, wife says fix it, she ran out of gas once, thanks

You can replace either one fairly easily yourself. Theres a small hatch in the floor of your trunk just behind the back seat. Open the hatch and you have access to replace them. Not hard to do. Check clubgp.com for instructions.
