overhead console swap questions

hi all i have a 2001 gt with a small overhead console and i would like this one listed below do anymore know if this is possible to swap even though its bigger than my small one? i wished i had a pic of mines but i dont sorry guy's

gee thx, so anyone know of this fitting if i remove the samll console in my car?

I am sure it can be done as long as you don't have a sunroof, which I assume you don't. You won't have to worry about covering of length , just width over the old ones marks.

BUT a little bad news *possibly*

Your's im guessing has just the lights, which if you look, the end that faces the windshield tapers a little bit ( you can see in the pic that it gets narrower) and is actually smaller in width then the section with the lights. hope you get lucky and it works but just something to look at.
