has any one heard where our 3800 engine is goin? its goin into the 2006 eclipse!!! into a foreign car!! and especially that car!! thats not kul neone else agree with me?

i seriously doubt it unless gm owns mitsubushi now!

Mitsubishi has always collaborated with (or owned by?) Diamler-Chrystler. Excellent examples are the Dodge Stealth and even the tail lights on the newest Stratus (take a look sometime). If anything, I'd place my money on GM and Toyota.

my bad yall its not out 3800 but its another one and we got to worry bout this one it has 263 hp and 260lbt i hate to say this but its not a bad lookin car either with a 650watt stereo system and 18in wheels from the factory i think they went all out with the new eclipse

Forgein engines/domestic cars and vise-versa has been occuring all the time. No biggie. More often it is forgein engines/domestic cars.

Just clicked on the link. The side view looks fantastic!!! The front and especially the back end is left to be desired. Interior looks pretty nice too.

Surprised they went with an engine this big. Expected 3.5 or something like that.

Don't like the website. Its not 56k friendly in any way shape our form. All I saw were some short flash video clips without much supporting data. Anyways, don't like the look. Front end seems so small because of the trunk and the tail lights look like crap. I get the feeling this car will make ours seem easy to work on.

I've seen this car in recent auto show pictures .. Front end looks okay, but the rear .. Bluntly, that thing has one big ass. Coming from someone that owns a GP, that's saying something, since our cars tend to be a bit big in the rear too. But that Eclipse .. It's terrible.

Foreign parts = blah. Not sure how much trouble 06 Eclipse owners will run into when trying to mod, since the engine is completely changing.
