So I got the special sockets and what not, so i had at it, well that sucker is in there (wasnt expecting a breeze) But would it be ok so spray PB blaster on the edge of the sensor ? i know those are probably delecate along with all the heat on the rear mani, would it burn up and smoke ? would it be ok to spray ? any other tips or tricks ? cant get more than a 3/8 socket in there without breaking extension(1)

Spraying PB Blaster on the edge of the sensor will be fine. If you are worried about run off, place a rag around the sensor to catch the excess. When you replace the sensor, put some anti-seize compound on the threads. It will make a huge difference if you ever need to remove that sensor again.

IF your getting rid of that sensor, why not use pb blaster on it.

Take the upper mounts out, tip the engine towards you (trans in neutral), and use a 1/2" socket, extension, and rachet or breaker bar. Slip a steel pipe over the rachet handle for extra leverage. If you have a floor jack with a two piece handle, use the upper section... hammer

It's like the plug wires, you just have to man up and do it. It sucks, and you might never think it's coming out but it will.
