check the ODO fuse. my friend ran a switch to his so he could shut his miles off on his car to screw with the mileage for resale on the vehicle, very dirty but yeah he did it.

Wow, that would be illegal I think? Car Fax have thing I think call "mileage roll back"?

Mileage roll back would only catch it if you reduced the mileage. If you stop adding miles then it might check out. Of course people will wonder why your car didn't go anywhere for the last 5 years, and theres that little issue of being illegal and an a-hole thing to do...
