I would talk to your local authorities before getting it. I used to live in New York and know that they had pretty strict laws on things like that. Thats why I like Florida... NO INSPECTIONS!!
I like all K&N stuff. Never used the Aircharger before.

i've looked into it and i've only found it to be illegal in CA, so i'd say it is legal

Not sure what an aircharger is (never heard of that model) but if you replace the stock paper filter with a OEM style K&N filtercharger then it will be 100% legal under Magnusson Moss Act on replacement parts. If you switch to a cone style filter then some states may rule it illegal (like Cali).
