Where are all the 04 owners?

I would have thought there would have been more 04 GP owners on this site by now. Is the 04 not selling that well yet? I don't see any 04's in my area yet. I wonder how many 04's they've sold in the first month they've been out. I also wonder if they will need to start the rebates in order to spur sales.

Don't forget that they only rolled off the line about 5-6 weeks ago. Some lads in the US got them early...

They're built in Oshawa, I'm in Ottawa (couple hrs drive away) and the dealerships here in town only got their shipment of '04s 3 weeks ago. Even then, they only got GTs. I bought my GTP/WS6 over a week ago and just got it yesterday, woohoo, and according to the dealer I got the first one (GTP/WS6) sold in town. :p

It was actually funny, because when I picked it up yesterday...there had to be about 20 or 30 people at the dealership checking out cars and half of them, they had to beat off with a stick to keep them from leaving fingerprints and smudges on my car after they finished polishing it up...and 'cause they all wanted to test drive it. hehehe

Anyway, only had it a day...it's been raining ever since, so I haven't had a realy good opportunity to really check it out...but man, I LOVE IT!!! Was worth *every* penny!

I've only seen one on on the road and it was a gt.
I ordered mine 3 and a half weeks ago from the factory and there's no news yet.
I am getting restless

I saw the first ad for the new GP today....It's gonna take ads like these to catch the attention of people who aren't constantly looking for this car....as we are.
This was a whole page ad, I eliminated all the pricing, and picture, and legal mumbo jumbo, to give you the comparisons that they showed.

Last weekend they had a comparison of the 2004 Comp G and the 2004 Maxima. Actual road tests and the GP kicked the Maxima's butt. The refinement they said is not the same as the Maxima's, hey who cares?

So now the Maxima owners can sit in their cars and shout "but my car is more refined" at the GTP tail lights.....

While the refinement may not be comparable, every single person I've taken out for rip in mine or has checked it out loves the interior. Especially the leather buckets. I've sat in other cars with leather seats, but these ones are by far the best I've tried.

Also, the new dash construction elimates a lot of squeeks and rattles I had in my previous 2000 model. At the moment, the only rattle I'm having is the key fob bouncing off the dash (now that the key goes into the dash instead of the steering column) but that's easily fixed.

Why are rattles reduced in the new design? I would think all the hard plastics on the front of the dash would squeak early and often.

It just 'looks and feels' more solid and yep...been a month so far and no rattles/squeeks...other than my fat ass on the leather...

The very top plastic hood piece over the gauge area is very flimsy, like I could break it off with little effort. Every thing else seems pretty solid.

No way...it may look that way, but it ain't...at least mine isn't.

Hmmm.... the one I test drove seemed pretty flimsy. Maybe it was just an over reaction on my part. I sure hope so!

Just picked mine up this morning. Very impressive car even though I test drove one before. I love the seats, much better than the 97 I had.
