i did some checking this am and pontiac knows of the problem i think. enginering is working on a fix. ill keep you posted.it would be a good idea to have your pontiac dealer know of this problem and have them write up a repair order and document the complaint just like you have said. i have been a gm mechanic for over 25 years and this is a new one on me too. paul in iowa.

Im the new guy. We just bought a used 2004 GT2 its black with charcoal cloth. It has XM radio and the monsoon stereo. It has the heads up display and 2005 GT1 aluminum wheels. the dealer is my father in law and I didnt like the stock GT2 wheels and they had a 2005 GT1 on the lot so they traded with me. What a nice car I know its not a GTP but its suprising how well it runs. But I have a 1978 Trans am with pretty radical small block chevy in it so if iget the need to go fast i can drive that notontopic

Yes, that is a problem. Also have a problem when my rear window was tinted (metal in the film) causes poor AM reception! oops!

That's why you should have the windows tinted with either the ceramic tint or have them install the new 3M that is carbon based.

I had mine tinted back in November and they used the 3M carbon tint. No problems with radio reception with the rear window mounted antenna.
