Depends on your age and record too. Mine, I'm 36 and have no accidents or speeding tickets (knock on wood) in over 12 yrs...mine only went up about $200 CDN (~$150 US) over what it was previously on my 2000 GP GT.
I have a clean record as well and mine went up $350 Canadian. Though this includes taking me out of a multi-car discount I was under. I'm not complaining too much because other companies want way more than what I'm paying for.
The one thing I'm thinking is that even though I had a GTP, back then the models were SE and GT with GTP as an option group. Now it's GT and GTP models so they know that it's a "souped up " car now.
