I have a 2000 GTP..Don't know the difference it would sound, but the flowmaster 40's i put on with resonated tips is awesome! Gives it a GOOD rumble, but at the same time it's not too loud, and it certainly doesn't sound like a rice burner.

If you don't want a loud exhaust, don't get Flowmasters. Look into Borla or Dynomax. Do a search to look up a site with sound clips. That should help you decide. Keep us informed.

try these

here is one vid clip of the stock exhaust system
system on my 04 pontiac Gran Prix GT V6,
installed are the flowmaster deltaflow 50 series
mufflers, they have a deep tone, and not to loud at
all, espically inside the car its till quite, unless i
have my foot into it and u may even here i pop or crackle in both systems, thats cuz i had my foot into and i was manualy shifting it up, and then down shifting it

and here is the 2nd with the flowmasters installed
with stock cats and resonator , you know i could not
leave it well enough alone, had to make it a little
louder.. bit not to loud u cant hear yourself think in
the car, and of course i got the windows tinted to....

Gran Prix GT 3800 V6
