Remote Start on 06?

Is this on every 06 GT GXP? Or was it a midyear introduction. Cant find information on how it even works.
I.E. push lock for 5 seconds or whatever.

It's on my 06 GXP. you hit the lock button once, then hold the start button for about 4 seconds. Neat feature.

I know i got my 06 now. i was anxious before getting it and reading on it non stop.....thanks...how you like yours?

It is incredible! I don't know of another car that can hold my whole family and turn a 14 sec 1/4 mile. I guess an Infinity G35 might do that, but it doesn't have the V-8 rumble. And I'm not a big fan of jap crap. I can't belive it is just as quick as my 96 Z28 was.

If it was only rear drive with a 6 speed manual, it would be the perfect car!

Yes for my remote start I need exhaust so I can hear it start at work. haha
Another note the remote on my 06 is damn powerful!!!!super long range.
