Don't think I'll be able to make it this year. I'd like to go, but don't think it's in the cards.

Can't make it either. Have fun though.

Can't make it either mainly because there's still no date and it's still unknown whether it will happen or not. If it does I need a little more than a month notice to drive halfway across country.

As much as I give credit to Tony for putting all the effort into each GPG, I am somewhat disappointed that he (and other KC guys helping with GPG) do not seem the least bit concerned about people from other parts of the country.

I guess they expect people to be able to leave work and family and such at a drop of a hat for the drive out to Kansas City.

Hopefully other closer alternatives (like AIS) will become more popular in the near future.

Well Chew! You and I could always think about getting an East Coast GPG going for next year in the DC area. We definately have the track around for a drag day and have an auto-x day and finally a show and shine. Shouldn't be a problem getting certain companies either to help with sponsering it.

DC is a good location also since it is more or less in the middle.

What about us west-coast folks?

Set up one for the west coast.

I just know a lot of people from the east coast don't make it out to GPG because of the distance. If there was an east coast GPG they would come.

We can chat in detail about this at the dyno day at the end of the month. I've thought about it and some of us even chatted about it before - but it was hard to decide a schedule of events as well as an appropriate time, since we didn't want to overlap with any other large events.

I'll start a thread over on MDMS and we can start the brainstorming. Don't want to threadjack ;-)
