Cold starts/stalling

I've had my Grand Prix Comp G GTP for a year and a 1/2 now.

GR8 car!!! I have a question though on cold starts. I just got it back from it's 3 month check up and the tech cleared some codes out of the computer. Isn't there an update if codes are found to fix this?

Still having a hard time starting the car in the morning. And when I back out of the driveway the car chugs and then wants to stall. Some times it does. Some times I get a power surge and the car lurches ahead without my foot on the pedal.

Gotta love Central New York. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

i sometimes have a similar thing happen to me. i have a the GT1 and sometimes when i start it up it studders and it has even chugged right on off. that all happens before i even get it in to gear. someone suggested to me to replace the fuel filter, but i haven't had the chance to change it so i'm not sure if it will work. something to note is that fuel filters are often not included in general tuneups and isn't in the warranty either.
