how to tweek a computer on a 04, dawg

Gran prix GT, can I use a lap top or a PC to do this? whats involved?
where can i get the software to do it?

reason im asking is, this thing is a dog, took it to the track and the best time was a lame 16.405 second and 84.52 in the 1/4 mile, its a dog when it shifts to, even thou it has a shift kit in it.. and if i do a burn out of any kind, the computer goes nuts.. with or without the TC on, im going to get a better cold air intake and id like to tweek the PC

oh here is the info from my best out of 5 runs

RT = .153

60' = 2.363

330' =6.834

1/8th = 10.545 @65.64 mph

1000' = 13.737

1/4 = 16.405 @84.52 mph

you 60ft time needs work. Get a powrtuner to do the tuning
