MotorWeek TV Review - 03/22/03 08:23 PM

Watched the MotorWeek TV spot on the 2004 GTP/WS6 today, and they answered the question on the TAPshift - both paddles function the same - push forward for up, pull backwards for down. That was a very positive review ( but then most of their reviews are ), and functionally the car appears to be great. While some believe that it may look better in a darker color, red, black or green just don't work up here for me - too much work to keep it looking nice. Silver it is! wink

I did find it on Speed Channel Tuesday at 8:30 AM (good thing for VCRs!) Just wondering, Fluid, how long was the segment? With 5 pieces to cover in 30 minutes, it couldn't have been too in-depth. I know PBS goes without commercials; wonder if Speed will also be commercial free - if not, they'll probably cut the GP segment to make room

The GP segment was 4-5 minutes long. Lots of video of it driving around the Sedona hills, a look under the hood, a minute looking at the interior, a short piece on pricing. The Subaru Forester segment was cut short....but not the new Maserati Coupe! BTW, it has wheel mounted shift paddles too, a $3000 option on a $87,000 car.... eek eek

Only 87K for the Maserati? I figured they were good for 150-180K. Maybe I'll get one as a backup to the GTP WS6 :p

Probably not.
