05 base grand prix exhaust?

i'm looking at buying a muffler that will add a rumble to my GP. i don't want it to be too loud but i want something that has a good purr to it. can i take out the stock muffler and put a flowmaster muffler in it? or do i have to make major mods to it? please avise.

well i was going to say if you want loud just replace the muffler with exhaust piping but either get a flowermaster or a even stright pipe it and remove the res and put some type of muffler in place of res

Magnaflow makes a cat back for your car ,single or dual outlet,or you could just switch muffs Magnaflow has a much nicer sound than flowmasters on these cars IMHO.Chico(pops)
