24hr Test Drive

I've seen commercials showing the Comp G package claiming that GM is offering a 24 hour test drive, similar to what they offer on the Saturns. Does anyone know what qualifications you need to be approved for the day with the GP? I'll gladly leave them my '97 GTP for the day, hopefully they don't want a deposit or anything...

Minimum age of 21, and you have to stay within 100 miles of the Dealership.

They need a copy of your DL and insurance/registration.

Also have to sign a piece of paper, saying you won't speed, use the car for illegal activities, etc...

I took the '04 GTP for 24h while my '98 GT was in the shop.

Arrgh!!! They don't do that here in Canada!!!!

ohh and by the way most reputable dealers were already offering the 24 hour test drive if youd ask. GM thought theyd use that idea as a marketing ploy to help lagging new car sales.
