Grand Prix 2004 omission

Hey has anyone out there in GP land noticed that Pontiac omitted the outside air temperature readout in the 2004 and up? I wonder if there is any way to install it. Today, mine told me that I should cherck the air in the tires but it can't warn me that its cold enough for icy roads!!!

Not sure if we are referring about the same thing. My 2004 reads out the compass direction and the outside temp on the driver information console and the heads up display. It will also display the word "ice" when the temp is low enough.

GT2owner, my 2005 GTP gives the same reading as yours.
