1474 megapixel photo of Inauguration that you can zoom

The technology used in this photo of the Inauguration makes me wonder what we have in Space and in UAVs.

Double click and zoom to any section of the crowd. . . -wait a few seconds. . . and the focus adjusts, double click again to zoom, or zoom with the controls on the left. You can move the picture by holding down your left mouse button and moving it, just liek google maps.

The picture was taken with a robotic camera at 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera)

that is some scary stuff...then again I saw spyplane recon cameras at the Udvar-Hazy Center they claim could photograph a newspaper from almost 20K feet high...almost hard to believe.

Its not just one picture. They took several pics and spliced them together. Look at the woman in the purple below Obama. Shes only half there.

Yeah, its like a turning camera that takes a couple shots as it turns.
