I studied that for a few weeks. Just enough for my final exam. Then I went to the bar and drank it out of my memory. laugh

You will never need to use it.

I don't use those either.

You know, I spent years studying all that math, stats, etc. Then I got into my first real job and they expect me to program in SQL and use Oracle. I don't use calculus at all (probably a good thing) mad

Oracle sucks. Especially PL/SQL.

Really? I don't have much flexibility. I need something that is cheap, and easy enough that I can teach it to myself.

I started out using MS Access and found out that it is terrible software.

I'm currently using MySQL and MS SQL server. It works for me.

What do you recommend? Is it cheap?

Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Edition is free and easy. It supports stored procedures and data transformation services. With enterprise manager, it gives a nice user interface that also has a good SQL interface.
