LOL, remember, you must always flush your oil with the water hose! That way you make sure you get it all out!

I actually know of some people who either A.) Pound a screwdriver through the filter to loosen it, or B.) Punch a hole in the bottom then pound an extension in.

I was speechless to say the least....

I actually had to do that once, was stuck in a jam, so I hammered a screw driver through the old filter and twisted.

I've used screwdriver in the filter a few times. Works great. Messy but it works.

I've done this in the past many times, once on my car.... Just remember that the CV boot is right behind it, I wasnt paying attention and popped a hole right into my boot.

I've done the screwdriver through the filter trick, usually on a customer's car where someone put the filter on with a torque wrench... For stubborn filters in tight spots, this tool has helped a few times: Oil Filter Wrench Never had one say no to "The Claw"...
