Damage isnt much, just bumper and fender, but had to get new struts, tie rod ends and a rim

Whats the plan for the truck.

did you purchase the truck with the mud or was that a option that you added?

Looks like the bed is a little out of alignment.

I believe the 77-79's had that option from the factory.

The bed (mis)alignment was also a factory installed option :p

No plans as of now, the tranny is weak, and will need replacing sooner or later. Yes, the bed is alittle off but the whole truck is far from perfect, little things here and there but not bad for sitting outside for 3 years

Nice thing is there are so many things available for those trucks.

As for the condition hey if the price was right. Who cares!!!! I never understood the fancy paint and body work when your gonna take it off road. If it wasn't a standard cab I'd have bought it.

Yes, I was trying to sell it awhile back, but am glad I ended up keeping it. The vehicle I wanted to replace it with turned out to be a lemon.

What happened: Back at the end of june a road grader blew a stop sign as I was heading home, I took to the ditch, managed to somehow avoid a pole on the drivers side but clipped a yield sign on the pass side. Figured that would hurt less than the grader. Going to the body shop soon to make it all better finally.

Shawn: Bought the truck for $500, as you can tell the front fenders are new, but dont think I will spend money on paint since there are a few other issues with it. Better make it run good before appearence

It always mildly amuses me when someone bumps or ttt's on a forum of this size...
