Props to our Mods. - 04/14/08 12:10 AM

I just want to thank our resident mods for doing a fine job (at least the 2 that actually moderate) to appreciate our mods you need to pay a visit to the Bonniville club or CGP on the Bonny club they have a real Nazi doing the modding and for those that belong to CGP you'll know what a joke they are.Chico(pops) thumbsup

What did you do that you are trying to get out of trouble for, Chico?

:p

Seriously, you two do do a great job here.

Thanks to the mods for the time they put into it.

Hey Chico, I don't know about the moderating that WillWren does, but I can tell you that he's a stand up guy in real life. I work with him and he's helped me a couple times on my car (came over and bled my brakes for me when I did my calipers and brake lines). He hangs out with the Portland GP guys like Crimpton on occasion.

I know the Bonneville site is his "baby" and he takes GREAT pride in it...maybe a little too much? I know he means well...

You should see all of the porting, polishing, and overall helping that the guy does for other people out of the goodness of his heart.

Speaking of Willwren, he invited me over this month to replace the axle in my GP...I never called him back. blush

Props to the mods here!!!

I gotta stand up for Bill though.
Erik is right.... He means well and if it wasn't for him there prolly wouldn't be a Bonneville Club. I enjoy spending a day with him, it's all laughs and poking fun. He's pretty blunt when it comes to his feelings as to what's good or bad for your car, but I've learned to just use his information as added input.

Yah, they are on just as much as the post whores, wait they are post whores!

Thanks!
I should be a mod sooner or later. I am on Rook's tail for post counts!

Wonder what kind of crap the guy gave you Chico...

Party on GP.net!

Thanks for the props guys but in reality it's you the posters that make it happen.

Very rarely do we have to intervene on anything.

No problem Chico. Just wanted to let you know that behind all those blunt opinions, there is a stand up guy.

That's one of the things I've been happy about over the years. Never having to worry about anyone going way off base. Everyone does a good job of self moderating. But when someone does go out of bounds, herc or austin do jump in, get straight to the point with them and its solved.

non-insecure, Magnanimous Mods = the coolness

I'll have to say I've had the pleasure of meeting AustinGTP when I went to TMS and he is a great guy. I'm looking forward to adding Herc to my list as well, hopefully later this year.

I wont say its a thankless job cuz the board members here will say so when it counts. But I'll gladly add to that by saying that the time and effort you guys give is much appreciated.
I've been singing the praises of this site to quite few people lately with all the support and info I have recieved in trying to get my car back to 100% operational status. Without all you guys I could easily have spent myself broke.
