LS1 guys already have throttle bodies. This comes with an adapter plate for the Grand Prix. It is a mod.

throttle response comes with tranny tunes. hmmmm...does it come with the MAF? Must the TB move by a certain time, or can you hold off until the New Year?

It doesn't come with the MAF. But there are a couple on clubgp right now.

Keep in mind if you swap to the bigger MAF you'll need a retune to account for the bigger MAF otherwise it'll run like garbage.

Throttle response being the only benefit? Dude, I can retune the PCM's tranny parameters to net teh same results. Unless someone makes a compelling case on why, I'm gonna pass.

To be totally honest, I have no idea. I would assume that it is. The guy I bought it from had it on his car for a while. The throttle bracket is already modified to run on the L67.

I might be interested but I won't know for a couple weeks.... I need to fab up some kind of intake bend for my rx-7/L67 setup... so that might work well as part of it.

Unless you're heavily modded, the TB is not where you need to be focusing your attention.

I think it would be overkill,a n/a motor will only take in X amount of air say 650cfm if you install a TB capable of 750cfm the motor will still only injest 650cfm,I think the ZZP SI HVTB with a 68mm TB is about optimum for your application,now if you were to go with a cam and headers the LS1 TB would be a good choice.Chico(pops)
