Great Story!!!! (To me at least)

Ok so me and my friends were just hangin out at my house, they drive a Subaru Impereza WRX with an exhaust and whatnot, and I was telling them about this place that me and my other freind found that was just perfect for racing. Anyways so we head up there and we race and whatnot (I beat him every time except when I gave him one car length and let him spool his turbo up from the line). So we are stading on the side of the road just chillin and two mustangs drive by, one is a like 95 Cobra and the other is an 04 GT. They race and the cobra won. Anyways I wanted to race the GT really bad cause I thought I had a chance with it. So we line up and race. The first race we did I had the worst launch I think I've had cause I got a little ancy and just put it to the floor and burned out pretty bad and stayed at his bumber till we hit about 95 and let off. I got out and asked him to do it one more time cause I had a horrible launch. Second race I still had a really bad launch and this time I stayed right at his door!!!! It was so awesome and I felt really proud. Yes yes, I know I got beat, but a stick shift v8 fwd againts a FWD V6!!!
Anyways he was kinda mad after we drove back and drove off. Oh yeah and the only thing he did to the GT was a chip, and I only have my FWI on my car. Gah I am so proud I drive a GTP!!!!

Crap sorry for putting this on here instead of on everything else. I thought I did but apparently I didn't. You can move it Austin or Herc to Everything Else if you need to.

Lol, I once beat my friends 1973 chevelle laguna with my dad's 1986 1/2 escort 4 door 5 speed....man was he pissed! We raced all the way to 125mph and he could not get passed me, I had a good 3 feet nose advatage the entire time we were racing. This was back in 1988, sooo long ago

I was so into the race I actually ripped the shifter knob right off the stick when I hit second, lol

To this day he claims his car was cold, LMAO!!

My friend with his WRX did a similar shift knob rip off. I was in the car when he did it, too. When he did it, he thought he somehow ripped the whole shifter out.
