is it bad to get octane booster and get a fuel cleaner and mix them? and are they worth the money? what about royal purple products?

Depends on what is in the cleaner/booster, you might be overdosing your vehicle. However, I know a guy that put a full quart... yes, a full quart of Lucas fuel treatment in a vehicle. It still works fine. :p

octane booster is worthless, as are most fuel system cleaners... get techron if you're going to do it.

Techron or BG 44K, which is only sold at service stations are the only two worth buying. Every so often Advance Auto or Auto Zone have a BOGO special on the Techron.

I bought Techron at my local Costco. I think I got 6 bottles in the box.

Just fill up with fuel additives and octane boosters and pee in the tank. Hit the pedal and you will be getting the rare and unheard of, Supah Bhoost.
